Some recent images from three and half days of admissions photography at Oberlin College in Ohio. The institution has a strong sense of identity as progressive, socially oriented, environmentally & globally concerned and probably even a little bit hippie. A few weeks before the shoot, I worked closely with the in-house creative team using a word list they brainstormed to tell the story of the college through imagery. We focused on things that are distinctive to Oberlin including the bike co-op, meal co-ops, the music conservatory, and the uniqueness of the student population.

Hi all, it’s been a busy season. I’m six weeks behind blogging the spring higher ed admissions photography season, but keeping up with post production… everything to clients within a week of the site visit.
